On September 25, 2026, an Amok Cooking Training and Competition was held at Prasat Bakong High School. The activity provided students with an opportunity to learn about the preparation, ingredients, cooking techniques, and cultural significance of Amok, one of Cambodia’s traditional dishes.

Following the training session, students participated in a cooking competition, allowing them to demonstrate their culinary skills, creativity, teamwork, hygiene practices, and understanding of traditional Khmer cuisine.

The activity aimed to encourage young people to appreciate and preserve Cambodia’s culinary heritage while developing practical cooking skills that can contribute to their future education, employment, and livelihood opportunities.
